There might have a time where you just might have used a phone from a Chinese brand called Xiaomi, right? Now they have come up with a car? shocking right? to commemorate their 10th Anniversary in India. Xiaomi has finally showcased their first electric sedan in India.
Although, before moving forward, i did have a question to ask everyone, Is it just me or the SU7 does resemble the likes of the Porsche Taycan electric sedan. Nevertheless, The Xiaomi SU7 happens to be a crucial part of the brand’s global investment plan targeted at $10 billion.
On a global level the Xiaomi SU7 has been available since March of this year and has already seen over 70,000 booking till now. Xiaomi also targets to deliver 1,00,000 units by the end of 2024.
Talking about performance, unlike an average Xiaomi tech which is infamous for having performance issues, the SU7 is supposed to be a bit different and was presented in a rear wheel drive and an all-wheel drive variant. The rear wheel drive variant takes its power from a 400V electric motor and a rear mounted hyper engine V6 electric motor which pushes out 295hp with a peak torque of 400 Nm.
With the electric hypersensitivity skills this Taycan look alike can accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 5.28 seconds. The AWD version of this electric beast comes loaded with a 800 V architecture and a dual electric motor which offers 664hp with a peak torque of 838Nm accompanied with a hyperaccleration which helps the SU7 max go 0-100km/h in just 2.78 secs. The top speed on this bad boi points at 265km/h and also offers a range of 800kms on a single full charge.
On the feature front, both version are loaded with the best in tech. Some of those features include a 16.1 inch 3k console, a 56 inch HUD display unit and a 7.1 inch rotating dashboard, hmm. isn’t this something which tingles some nerves?
Well, before finishing this article, there’s another surprise. If you had already made up your mind in preying on this bad boy as soon as it launches in India. Well, let me stop you just there as Xiaomi will not be launching the SU7 in Indian anytime soon. So there you have it, its better for you to look for something which actually suits you like brand new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG, how about that?
