Renault Triber Scores 4-star Rating At Global NCAP

What was the tag that Renault Triber carried earlier, the budget MPV! And now, with an impressive 4-star rating at the Global NCAP crash testing, Renault Triber becomes one of the safest MPVs in India. Renault Triber starts at a price of ₹5,30,000 (Ex-showroom). Let’s take a brief look at the crash results.

  • The Renault Triber used for testing had a basic safety package. It had 2 airbags, ABS and seatbelt reminder.
  • Triber scored 11.62 out of 17 for the adult occupancy. According to GNCAP, driver and passenger’s safety was overall good. The structure was rated unstable though, which means it cannot withstand any further loading. Just for your reference, Kia Seltos scored 8.03 on the same test!
  • For the child occupancy, Renault Triber scored 27.00 out of 49. Do note that Triber does not offer ISOFIX anchorages for child seats. Still, Triber managed to score average protection for the child occupancy.
