Mahindra revealed the new XUV700 last month that shook the auto market at the price tag and features it comes with. Now the automaker has released the prices of all the variants as only the top-spec model was due for the price reveal. So, here we’ll be comparing all the models with their price tags to see which one is worth the buck.
Mahindra XUV700: MX Trim
XUV700’s MX trim is the base variant that is priced very competitively and in an affordable price slot. Still, it comes with so many great features and surely justifies its price. It features keyless entry, 17-inch steel wheels, LED taillamps, Day/Night IRVMS, an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, and steering-mounted controls.
The automaker has provided the buyers with so many top-class features at the base price and that is good.

The higher trim than MX trim receive even more extensive and amazing features which surely are worth a look. The AX3 trim offers all the MX features and it also offers some features above that. They are wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, LED DRLs and front fog lamps, connected car tech, 6-speaker sound system with sound moods, 10.25-inch touchscreen, and digital instrument cluster, 17-inch steel wheels with cover, and Amazon Alexa connectivity. These features above MX trim can be worth the extra buck for some buyers or for some it might not.

So, here we enter the secondly positioned top-spec model of Mahindra XUV700. It offers all the features of AX3 but some luxurious features beyond that as well. They are LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, cornering lamps, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, sequential turn indicators, and curtain airbags. This trim offers some more cool features. But we’re still yet to cover the top-spec trim AX7 for which the new XUV700 is making headlines.

So, here we come to the top-spec model for which the new XUV700 shook the market. It offers first and best in segment features at a very competitive price tag. Mahindra was successful in keeping up with the hype and made other automakers redefine their strategies. The top-spec trim comes up with all the AX5 features and some amazing features beyond that. They are leatherette upholstery, air purifier, driver drowsiness detection, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, 6-way power-adjustable seat with memory function, dual-zone climate control, side airbags, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever.
Yes, you caught us, we didn’t mention one feature but it deserves a special mention i.e. ADAS. It offers features such as lane assist, cruise control, high beam assist, etc. It can also be upgraded with AWD (all-wheel-drive) option at ₹1.3 lakh extra on the diesel-automatic variant. The buyers can also opt for the luxury package by paying ₹1.8 lakh extra for features like a 360-degree camera, Sony 3D surround sound system, a wireless charger, electronic parking brake, and blind-spot monitor.
