In the 24 hour Speed Endurance Challenge, Mahindra XUV700 set a new national record at the new SUV proving track in Chennai. Each of the 4 XUV700s clocked over 4,000kms in the event. The earlier record was set way back in 2016 at 3161km.
XUV700 Diesel-Manual Variant at Top
The diesel-manual variant topped with 4384.73km followed by the diesel-automatic variant clocking 4256.12km. Then came the petrol-manual variant with 4232.01km followed by the petrol-automatic at 4155.65km.
More Records Broken
XUV700 also broke 80 additional records during the same event. Indian Book of Records has verified the records and EVO India had organized the event. Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India was the regulatory body for the event and it was also observed by the same body.
Mahindra XUV700 Proved Itself
The drivers had to drive the XUV700 for 24-hours continuously. It was one of the toughest tests for them. The stopovers were very quick and only for changing the drivers or fuel refilling. Well-known auto enthusiasts from all around the country participated in the event. This endurance event shows the outstanding capabilities of the XUV700.
