Hyundai Verna Gets Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Before this update, only Nissan Magnite, Hyundai i20 and Renault Kiger had wireless connectivity under ₹20 lakhs. Hyundai has joined the league of wireless connectivity with its mid-size sedan, Verna getting the feature now. Hyundai Verna becomes the first mid-size sedan to have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Do all the variants of Hyundai Verna get wireless connectivity?

No, only the S+ and SX trims of Hyundai Verna get wireless connectivity. Even the SX(O) variant still has the wired connectivity only. Both the trims get an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Other than this, you will get features like a front USB charger, manual AC, Arkamys sound system, cooled glovebox, dual-front airbags and ABS in the ‘S+’ variant. When it comes to the ‘SX’ variant, you get additional features like a wireless phone charger, projector headlamps, cruise control, auto headlamps, a sunroof, a rear view camera and so on.

Another update to the S+ Variant

Hyundai Verna S+ variant now gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine option under the hood. This engine is capable of producing 115ps of power and a peak torque of 144.1Nm. Earlier, Hyundai used to offer a diesel engine option in the S+ variant which now will be sold along with the petrol unit. This S+ Petrol is priced ₹9,60,000 (ex-showroom).
