Hero Motocorp has launched the Hero Xoom Combat Edition priced at Rs. 80,967, ex-showroom. It will cost Rs. 1,000 more than the top-spec ZX variant which is being sold already. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Hero Xoom Combat Edition:
- Hero Xoom Combat Edition will only be available in one color scheme which is inspired by Fighter Jet color. The color offered is ‘Matte Shadow Grey’.
- The Combat Edition is very similar to the ZX variant.
- It will get a 110.9cc single-cylinder engine that can produce 8.2hp of power at 7,250 RPM and 8.7NM torque at 5,750 RPM.
- It will get the same digital display as that of the ZX variant along with all the connectivity features offered such as Bluetooth connectivity.
- Hero Xoom lineup prices start at Rs. 71,484, ex-showroom. The Combat edition will be the top-spec variant now.
- Xoom competes with the Honda Dio which is priced between Rs. 70,211 to Rs. 77,212, ex-showroom.
Any future plans?
Apart from this, there are no major changes as of now. Hero Motocorp might be bringing a 125cc version of the Xoom to compete with the likes of TVS N-Torq, Suzuki Access 125, etc. This can be a great move as the company’s 125cc portfolio is still not able to grasp the hold of the market.
