Now, without wasting any more time, let’s have a look at the updated 2024 Tata Altroz.

  • Tata has added 3 new luxury variants to the existing Altroz lineup XZ LUX, XZ+ S LUX, XZ+ S LUX Dark.
  • It is expected that the LUX variants will only receive the updated feature list.
  • These new features include a brand new 10.25-inch infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • These new LUX variants also get an 8-speaker Harman Kardon setup.
  • The 2024 Tata Altroz also features a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster taken from the upcoming Altroz Racer edition. However, this feature has also been limited to certain variants.
  • For the first time, the XZ+S gets 6 airbags. It would have been great if Tata would have offered 6-airbags as standard. However, in this case, only the top-spec variants get to have 6-airbags.

  • We also get to see the iRA telematics suite and an air purifier on the XZ+ which happens to be the top of line among all.

  • Other updated features include a wireless charger, 360-degree camera, cruise control and voice-activated sunroof.
  • Moreover, Tata has now discontinued to variants of the Altrox hatchback, the Tata Altroz i-turbo and the Tata Altroz i-CNG Dark Edition.
  • With this the Altroz will continue to lock horns with the Hyundai i20, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Toyota Glanza.
  • Talking about the changes on the mechanical front! Well, there are none and you just might have to do away with the same 1.2L NA Petrol (88PS, 115Nm, 5MT, 6DCA), 1.2L NA i-CNG (73.5PS, 103Nm, 5MT) and 1.5L Diesel (90PS, 200Nm, 5MT).
