Tata XPRES T Launched: The Tigor EV Facelift For Fleet Customers

Tata Motors has launched the facelift for Tigor EV with a new moniker: XPRES-T. The all-new brand XPRES is fleet customers exclusive and XPRES-T is the first of many offerings that will be offered under this brand. The electric sedan will soon be available at select Tata Motors dealerships in India for bookings. Let’s take a look at what all the Tigor EV (facelift) or the Tata XPRES T has to offer.

The fleet EV will be offered with two range options: 213km and 165km (ARAI certified). You will get a 21.5kWh and 16.5kWh battery pack as per the choice of range. Using a 15kW fast charger, you can charge the XPRES-T in 90mins and 110mins respectively. The 72V motor is capable of churning out 40.7ps of power and a peak torque of 105Nm. The XPRES-T can touch a top speed of 80kmph. The normal charging time will be around 11.5 hours.

You are going to get two variant options: XM+ and XT+. Right from the base variant, you will get Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC), tilt-adjustable steering wheel, integrated stereo with Bluetooth connectivity by Harman, 4-door power windows, and multi-drive modes: Eco and Sport. Both the variants come with the regenerative braking system.

As for the safety features, you’ll be getting dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, automatic door locking and seat belt pretensions, and load limiters, right from the XM+ variant. 

Exterior and Interior Styling of Tata XPRES T

You can see an EV accent-themed grille at the front with an integrated charging port. Looking at it from the side, you’ll se a coupe-inspired roofline. At the rear, you get LED tail lamps and high mounted stop lamp. You will find blue accents on the exterior as well as the interior to distinguish it from the other cars. The XM+ variant will get 14-inch steel wheels while the XT+ gets 14-inch alloy wheels. 

Inside, you will get a new digital instrument cluster, multifunctional steering wheel, premium black interior theme, and premium fabric seats.
