Force Motors showcased the Gurkha at the Auto Expo 2020. We are still waiting for the company to launch the offroader to take on the Mahindra Thar. Now, as a brochure has leaked online, we can expect a launch in the upcoming months.
You can expect Gurkha to have a 2.6-litre BS6 compliant diesel engine. This engine is capable of producing 89hp of power. You will only get a 5-speed manual transmission option with this engine. It will be the second offroader with 4×4 capabilities in the segment along with the Mahindra Thar.
Key details about the Force Gurkha:
We can expect Gurkha to have all the features and design elements that were showcased at the Auto Expo.
- Looking at the front, there is a redesigned grille, new front bumper, round-shaped LED DRLs, new headlamps, flat bonnet and upright pillars giving Gurkha a boxy look. It will also have 16-inch alloy wheels, snorkel, black ORVMs and so on.
- Interior will also get a new touchscreen infotainment system, new dashboard & circular air-con vents. It will have captain seats in the second row and side-facing jump seats at the back.
