A new year means new beginnings for all carmakers. However, this also means new cars from many manufacturers. One of them is Korean auto giant Hyundai who has recently been caught testing the facelift of the brand’s well-known subcompact SUV, The Hyundai Venue.
Although it’s been almost 2 months Hyundai has been constantly testing the facelifted version of the Venue. The only problem is that the brand has been testing the new Venue on its home turf, Korea.

Any changes on the mechanical front?
- The new Venue facelift will feature the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
- Additionally, transmission options also remain the same.
What are the cosmetic changes?
- New updates include a new and sleeker front and rear bumper
- Although it still continues to support its split LED headlight
- We can also expect a reworked skid plate which adds a much-needed premium look to its existing rivals like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Nissan Magnite, and the Renault Kiger.
- On the inside, we will get a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen in the new 2022 Hyundai Venue, new leather upholstery, fully digital instrument cluster, 20+ connected car tech.
- Other additional features include a possible moonroof, TPMS system, six airbags, ventilated seats giving all SUVs tough competition.
Hyundai Venue Facelift: When is the expected launch?
- It is expected to be launched by the second quarter of 2022 in its home turf closely followed by its worldwide launch.
